Time Out Says

Spice Kraft is more of a café than a restaurant, with no decorative features and a television playing pop songs while you eat. The service is also hit and miss. It’s a vegetarian restaurant and most dishes will be unfamiliar to the casual diner. And while the waiters are happy to recommend some things, they don’t do a great job of explaining others. If you’re feeling really hungry, go for the aloo firdausi, a filling tandoori potato dish. Mini samosas are pretty big despite their billing, and very tasty. One of the highlights here is the eggplant chaat, which has subtle spicing and a nice texture. Opting for a garlic naan to mop up the tadka dahl helps to improve this dish. You’ll be hard pressed to spend more than Dhs100 per couple here, but Spice Kraft is a place for a quick bite rather than a big night out.
