Spring Bamboo

What do you mean you've never had sea cucumber?

Time Out Says

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2010
Spring Bamboo is quite the full-on dining experience – from the chaotic atmosphere to the weird and wacky Chinese delicacies on offer. This perennially popular haunt is packed to the rafters with Dubai’s resident Chinese population and tourists alike, and has become a pit stop for their large banquets. The vast menu is as authentic Chinese as it gets, but it can be a little overwhelming for first-timers. For those who are feeling adventurous, try the ‘hot and sour sea cucumber soup’, followed by the ‘braised frog’ hot pot or ‘braised fish stomach with chili’. Gulp. A bit like the erratic ordering of the menu, the service is a bit sloppy and
the preparation and presentation of the food lacks finesse. That said, the portions are plentiful and wallet-friendly to boot.
