Time Out Says

This little restaurant tucked away by a corner of the Ibn Battuta Mall boardwalk area is often overlooked, which is a real shame because it serves up curries and kebabs with a difference. Granted, the ambience leaves a lot to be desired but you can see they really tried from beautiful wooden furniture and cabana-style booths outside to quirky kebab serving trays (it’s like they’re on a mini table).

The menu that might seem small, but offers enough variety. The chef’s recommendations are well worth a try; often with a slight flavour twist to what you’d expect. For example, the seekh e tandoor is a common enough dish and tastes fairly the same anywhere you go, but here the minced lamb kebab includes a different blend of spices - it’s just subtle enough for you to notice a difference, no doubt complemented by the fact that the meat is fresh and marinated in it well. And, unlike a lot of Indian restaurants in town, when you ask for things hot that’s exactly what you’ll get. Head here for a post-cinema curry; you won’t regret it.
