Time Out Says
It’s hard to believe that such vibrant food can come from such a tiny kitchen, but this miniscule spot in Al Barsha delivers some of the best Thai around. The chefs here are from Thailand and it shines through in the authentic food, all of which has a perfect balance of flavours. Choose from four spice levels: mild, medium, hot and Thai spicy (yes, that’s an official option). The menu sticks to the classics – chicken and beef stir-fries, curries, noodles, soups, salads and appetisers – though unfortunately some popular options such as massaman curry are missing. This is made up for, however, with lovely fresh seafood options like grilled fish in banana leaf and steamed fish with garlic, chili and lime.
Favourite dish: The som tam (green papaya salad) is fiery, fresh and crunchy, and is delicious alongside pretty much anything else on the menu, especially the pad Thai noodles.
Average price: Less than Dhs150
