Time Out Says

If you enjoy al fresco afternoon tea, then The Lounge is a refreshing option. The Park Hyatt’s Arabesque styling of whitewash walls, blue domes and buildings inspired by traditional wind towers provides a pleasing backdrop for an otherwise very British custom. Another twist is provided by the rather stylish glass teapots, which the staff pour with some ceremony. As for the offerings from the tiered tray, the standouts are the sandwiches, especially the tomato and mozzarella variant. After these savoury treats, it’s cakes, pastries and scones all the way. All the bite-sized options are delicious, but you’ll need an extremely sweet tooth to finish everything. But there’s no hurry, so take your time to enjoy the atmosphere and picture-perfect presentation.
