The Thai Kitchen

Long-standing Thai restaurant by the Creek that’s still as good as ever

Time Out Says

The Thai Kitchen may not be as glitzy, new or swanky as some of the other Thai res-taurants in the city, but that’s certainly not to its detriment.

This Thai restaurant has been impressing us for years, as it consistently turns out authentic, tasty Thai food.

The open kitchen means you can see your food being prepared and the chefs and waiters will take into account your fondness (or otherwise) of spice.

Go with their suggestions and you’ll be hit with wave after wave of excellent food.

Opt for one of the set menus to experience the best selection of dishes, or choose off the main menu that boasts a range of classic dishes – pad Thai, green curries et al – as well as more unusual options such as a whole hot and sour sea bass to share.

Park Hyatt Dubai’s dining scene has also been redeveloped to form The Promenade this year, so alongside The Thai Kitchen, there are new additions to the culinary zone in NOEPÉ and Brasserie Du Park, meaning there’s a fresh lease of life to the area.

With stunning views of the Creek, a buzzing vibe and some authentic dishes, you can’t get much bet-ter Thai food than at this Dubai classic.

The bottom line:
An oldie, but a goodie.
