Time Out Says
The restaurant, situated in the lush gardens of the Palace Downtown is one we keep coming back to again and again, and for very good reason.
Meander through fairy-lit foliage to the stunning restaurant and pull up a seat on the terrace overlooking the Dubai fountains and the Burj Khalifa.
There are flaming bowls, water features and candlelight aplenty, and the menu itself will turn your eyes into little love hearts.
Choose from appetisers like dim sum and mains including curries, seafood and meat dishes and rice and noodle plates.
Everything we try is excellent, especially the Massaman ge curry, which has stewed lamb shank sliding off the bone at the mere prod of a fork.
Dim sum are like little parcels of pure bliss, with fresh steamed buns parting to unleash tasty prawns, scallops and cuttlefish onto the taste buds.
Service is top-notch and overall there’s very little we can fault about the restaurant at all.
As you might expect it’s a little pricey, but for an experience like this we’re happy to part with our cash, though less than inclined to part with our leftovers, which are bagged up to be devoured (shockingly soon after) at home.
