Time Out Says
From the terrace of this gorgeous Thai restaurant you’ll have a seat practically in The Dubai Fountain, as the dining area is set out on decking into Burj Lake.
There’s no better place to view the stunning show, and it’s all very dramatic as you nibble on prawn crackers amid the display, serended by the music and crashing water around you.
But it’s not just the setting that makes this super Thai restaurant one of the very best in town.
Service is slick and friendly, while the menu is home to classic Thai dishes all done extremely well.
Choose from starters like dim sum and spicy salads, and mains including curries, seafood and meat dishes.
The massaman ge curry, made with super-tender stewed lamb shank, deserves a special mention, as does the hot and spicy soup and the delicious pad Thai, being light, fragrant and packed with al dente veggies.
Sautéed spicy prawns with cashews, peppers and dry chilli and beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce are also top choices for main courses, while the highlight is undoubtedly the green chicken curry, a signature dish, which is fiery and smooth in equal measure, with tasty, tender chicken and plenty of sauce.
You’ll need to book ahead of time, and there are two seatings a night, as this is a popular spot. It’s on the pricey side, too, but for a memorable dinner in a spectacular setting this is a bucket-list restaurant to book and one of the most romantic places in Dubai.
