Time Out Says

On a Friday night, this spot in the popular Madinat Jumeirah is absolutely bursting at the seams. Booking ahead is highly recommended, especially during weekends. Decked out to resemble a traditional majlis with reds, blacks and mosaic patterns being predominant in the decor, Times of Arabia feels like an authentic and traditional Middle Eastern spot. The hot and cold mezzes including baba ganoush, hummus with meat, halloumi and spinach fatayer are more of a hit than the barbecued mixed grill. Some of the meats on offer here can be a bit dried out and the arayes doesn’t always look appetising. This is a good place to soak up the views of the Madinat’s waterways and, considering its location, prices are good, too. Bet we suggest sticking to the mezzes, which fare better than the mains.
