Time Out Says
Because every time we visit there's barely a handful of people there.
The menu is contemporary Pan Asian, that’s favourites such as dim sum, bao buns, sushi and tempura done with a twist. And, just as on previous visits, the food is largely brilliant.
Spicy tuna crispy rice and soft shell crab small plates are sizeable, well-presented and delicious. The crab is coated with a light, seasoned batter while the tuna sits on a bed of fried until crispy rice and chilli coating.
Mains include lobster thermidor, baked whole sea baas, truffle miso risotto and braised wagyu short ribs and a selection of vegetarian stir-fries. While there’s a strong variety of speciality maki and sushi. The drinks menu is vast and not eye-wateringly expensive – you’ll get a glass of house grape for Dhs50 and bottled hops for Dhs45.
Everything, as always, has the makings of an excellent evening. And it is, aside from being the only ones to enjoy it.
