Time Out Says

With roots in Shinwari and Pashtun cuisine, Wakha offers an authentic taste of Afghanistan, complete with pungent aromas, myriad flavours and warm hospitality. This is one for the carnivorous – succulent lamb, tender chicken and Kabuli beef are grilled perfectly on the charcoal barbecue and sit next to a wide range of traditional breads and a small selection of familiar mezze. As it states on the menu, it’s “where we treat ewe right”.
