Time Out Says

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011
We’re not scared of fast, cheap eats here at Time Out – in fact, we love them – which is why we’ve always been tempted to stop while whizzing past Wonton House’s distinctive orange noodle bowl sign on Sheikh Zayed Road. The soulless establishment serves decent food, but has zero atmosphere. The first thing you’ll notice when walking in are the blinding fluorescent lights. This, combined with gormless service and the lack of music, make for an awkward dining experience. That said, the wonton soup is actually quite good, as are the flavoursome dim sum, which come with tangy dipping sauce. The mains, however, are less impressive: gelatinous sauces and bad quality meat mean that all flavours blend into one and no dish stands out as a star or, sadly, even a supporting act.
