A Lebanese joint in the heart of Barsha
Time Out Says
The first you notice about Ya Baladi is the standard ‘atmospheric’ Lebanese restaurant decor: a cosy setup of embroidered cushions, fake stones and depictions of Middle Eastern life. The menu comprises a decent selection of mezze, baba ganoush, cheese-stuffed fatayer, fried chicken livers, Armenian sausages (sujuk), bountiful flatbreads, holoumi and other Levantine staples. Service needs ironing out slightly and we find communication skills could be better. This isn’t the best Lebanese you’ll find in Dubai, but it is highly affordable, and it’s possible to feast without breaking the bank.
