Time Out Says

If you insist on getting recommendations about Syrian dishes (which are not always forthcoming), then this restaurant becomes a lot more appealing. The staff, when pushed, are helpful and forthcoming about the traditional Syrian options from the menu. Try the toshka – a delicious version of arayes containing cheese. However, this is one of few highlights here. The mixed grill can be dry and somewhat flavourless, while the sayadieh suffers from fish in wet and soft batter, and again a lack of flavour. The best thing about this restaurant is the views of the Burj Khalifa and most people come to smoke shisha and soak up those views. If you restrict your experience to that, you won’t leave disappointed. If you want a good, authentic Middle Eastern meal experience, there are plenty of other places in the city that will offer you just that.
