Time Out Says

As popular for its karaoke as its dining offering (if not more so), Yuraku is the Asiana Hotel’s ‘casual dining’ restaurant – hosting diners izakaya-style. The setting is more intimate than the hotel’s other eateries, and the bar-restaurant vibe is mirrored in the kitsch, cartoony decor and the jovial demeanour of the staff, who are happy to offer recommendations from the small menu, made up primarily of bite-sized snacks to enjoy while you’re belting your heart out.

Nibble yakitori skewers between ballads, crunch through a selection of kimchi to rock hits and pop chunks of seafood pancake while your dining companions serenade you with chart hits. Small portion sizes make this a great place to try a few different dishes – and Dubai’s largest selection of Japanese beverages, if that’s your bag – not to mention a few new notes.
