Time Out Says

With a peaceful setting by the pool, Zaap appears magical at first sight, but is somewhat disappointing on closer look. Formerly known as Thai Bistro, Zaap serves up an array of options such as curries, noodles, rice dishes and fish, with influences from various Asian countries. However, service tends to be sluggish and the food is mediocre at best. The setting, surrounded by other restaurants and nightlife venues, is the saving grace and will probably keep folk stumbling upon it. See it more as a place to line the stomach before a night out, but we suspect guests staying nearby make up the majority of diners. Zaap will have to it step up a few notches to keep people returning. Those looking for a quiet spot to catch up with a friend are best suited here, but there’s very little in the way of entertainment or atmosphere.
