Amazon Prime Day sale being held in the UAE

Amazon's popular Prime Day sale is being held for the first time in the UAE this year.

The two-day online shopping event, which offers huge discounts on thousands of products, will take place on Monday July 15 and 16.

If you're not a member of Amazon Prime you won't be able to get the discounts – but with a free 30-day trial you can sign up and get shopping when the sale launches.

Offering next-day delivery and paid same-day delivery on thousands of items, members can also watch TV shows and films on Amazon Prime's streaming service.

After the 30-day trial period, the monthly subscription will cost Dhs12 per month until the end of October when subscriptions will increase to Dhs16 per month or Dhs140 per year.
Prime Day starts Monday July 15 at midnight. For more information visit
