Zeina Abdalla’s 60 second style guide

Fashionista with an eye for vintage glamour shares her views beachs, snacking and the importance of laughter

Quick fire Q&A, Zeina

Describe your style in 5 words: My style is classic, sharp and trendy.
Where would you like to wake up tomorrow? A beautiful resort in Bali.
The best decade in the history of style was: the 40s. Such a glamorous era in the history of fashion. It was very feminine and soft.
The film I should have starred in is: Hitch. I love Eva Mendez’s character in the movie.
The song that could have been written about me is: That’s a tough one. I’ve never really thought about it.
When I tell my friends I’ve been selected as one of Time Out’s 20 most stylish readers they will: start laughing at me.
The acronym that describes me is: LOL, because I’m always laughing.
The secret to style is: accessorising.
A perfect day would be: camping in Hatta. When the weather is nice my friends and I usually do a little off-roading in the desert, then find a nice isolated spot.
My profound thought for the day is: the concept of bucket filling.
Massive meals or light bites? Definitely light bites. I eat small portions but many times throughout the day.
Sunrise or sunset? I’m not a morning person so would have to say sunset.
Burj Al Arab or Burj Khalifa? I prefer the décor of Burj Khalifa and you can get an amazing view from the top.
Desert or beach? Beach for sure.
Mall or market? I love going to the bazaars and finding unique pieces.
Hot or cold? Hot! I’ve lived in a cold country for 17 years so I’m all about the heat.
Facebook or Twitter? Facebook for sure, but Twitter is also very addictive.
Trainers or shoes? I’m more of a shoes person, I wear trainers only to the gym.
Mac or PC? Mac all the way. I’ve collected five in the last year. They’re fantastic!
