Organisers of this market at The Walk at JBR are looking for vendors selling vintage fashion, accessories, original art and photography. The markets run every Friday and Saturday 10am to 10pm and will cost Dhs3,900 for six months.

Global Village
The popular shopping and entertainment venue is now open again for winter, housing 124 pavilions from countries across the world, including Afghanistan, Jordan and Turkey. As well as a funfair, there will be vendors selling handicrafts and plentiful food options.

S*uce Design
A Dress competition Want to launch your own fashion label? One amateur designer will win the chance to create and develop a new collection to be sold at local boutique S*uce. To qualify, designers must submit three dresses that embody the theme of ‘monochrome pop’. Prizes also include admission to a London College of Fashion course in Dubai.

Special Needs Families bazaar at Sheraton Deira
Raising funds for families with children facing disabilities, this bazaar on Friday November 18 will offer a raffle, face painting, food stalls and more.

Win two tickets to a Swarovski fashion event at the Armani Hotel
Want to rub shoulders with the fashion elite? Rivaage Boutique opens in Sunset Mall
This luxe boutique on Jumeirah Beach Road opened on November 14, and its racks house a well-edited selection of clothes, jewellery, books and accessories from high-end designers such as Edmundo Castillo and Georges Chakra.

Jewels of Arabia at Dubai Aquarium
Head down to the Underwater Zoo at The Dubai Mall and check out the Arabian species currently residing in the aquarium. You’ll see black-tipped sharks, lionfish and even hawksbill turtles. There will also be the chance to win weekly prizes, including a trip to Oman.

See sculptures made from recyclable materials at Mirdif City Centre
To celebrate the UAE’s 40th National Day, the mall will be displaying 20 works hand-made by students using recyclable materials. Shoppers who spend more than Dhs200 at any store within the mall will have the chance to vote for their favourite, as well as entering a draw to win daily cash prizes totalling Dhs1.6 million. The winning sculptor will receive 20 laptops for their school.
