On Friday February 1, Festival City Mall is hosting a market featuring the hand-made wares of more than 1,800 artisans from 30 countries.

Starting on Thursday January 31, this three-day luxury DSF event features everything from limited-edition supercars and motorbikes to electronic gadgets, jewellery, a limited-edition gold bottle and designer fashion. Activities include a test-drive pit, a shooting and archery zone, a simulator and gaming area and a chill-out zone. The best-dressed female visitors will have a chance to win Dhs50,000.

Dubai Flea Market
On Saturday February 2, head to this second-hand market at Safa Park to sort through people’s trash and treasure in the hope of finding some antique-style wares and knick-knacks.

Kate Spade spring/summer 2013
Oozing retro charm, the colourful new collection of ladylike designs from the NYC brand have I Love Lucy written all over them. Marking the brand’s 20th anniversary, the collection is inspired by Ormond Gigli’s iconic ‘Girls in the Windows’ photograph, which was shot in NYC in the ’60s and features a woman dressed in full technicolour hues standing in the window of a terraced house. The range features polka dots,
