A hip new gallery and boutique, plus onesies have landed in Dubai

If you’re partial to head-turning ensembles, there’s a store made for you now open in Alserkal Avenue. The Cartel (055 995 5118) bills itself as part gallery, part boutique, where daredevils can stock up on wearable art. The independent venue is the brainchild of Hungarian-born Dubai-based photographer and filmmaker Peter Richweisz. It features more than 30 international artists and designers, including Cunnington & Sanderson and APTFORM for Michael Gkinis.

Hot Norwegian label OnePiece (onepiece.com/ae) has just launched an online store in the UAE, offering beanies, T-shirts and of course, one-pieces. The brand has a global following that includes rapper Wyclef Jean, who rocked a camouflage-style onesie at his Oslo concert.

Finally, need some redecorating tips? Dubai-based duo Emma Hutton and Carolyn Hollands have unveiled bespoke interior design studio Hollands & Hutton (050 654 6472; 050 235 9682). Specialising in beautiful interiors with a wow factor, the duo have designed homes for footballers and Dubai celebrities – they can create everything from nurseries to slick cinema spaces, selecting the textures, colours and accessories.
