On Tuesday April 30, designers from the Subcontinent will showcase their collections in front of judges including former Miss World Diana Hayden and Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani. The finalist will win a cash prize of Dhs10,000.

A three-day fashion event starting on Friday April 26, showcasing more than 20 Middle Eastern designers, catwalk shows, fashion galleries, installations and pop-up stores. Local on Board event at O’De Rose
On Wednesday April 24, this quirky Arabic-themed Al Wasl Road boutique launches a new initiative giving emerging Emirati artists a platform to showcase their work. The designs and creations of a number of young up-and-coming Emirati designers and artists will be exhibited at the boutique across a range of genres, including fashion, art, photography and accessories.

Numaish fashion and shopping event
On Saturday April 27, head to Raffles Dubai to check out art, fashion, jewellery, accessories and more from well-known designers hailing from New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Karachi, Lahore, Dubai and Bali.

The Little Black Jacket Chanel exhibition
Celebrating one of the French luxury brand’s most iconic pieces, from Saturday April 27 die-hard fashion fans can see this high-profile international exhibition of Karl Lagerfeld photographs, which illustrate the little black jacket as modelled by a number of celebrities.

The Market of Everything

William Tempest in conversation at The Archive
Hosted by London College of Fashion Short Courses in Dubai, on Sunday April 28 British fashion designer William Tempest, whose designs are favoured by Kate Moss, Rihanna and Victoria Beckham, will touch on his career and share his expertise.
