On Friday May 3, Festival City Mall is hosting this monthly market featuring the hand-made wares of more than 1,800 eclectic artisans from 30 countries.

Dubai Flea Market
On Saturday May 4, head to this popular second-hand market at Safa Park to sort through other people’s trash and treasure in the hope of finding pre-loved goods and perhaps even some antique wares and knick-knacks.

The Little Black Jacket Chanel exhibition
Celebrating one of the French luxury brand’s most iconic pieces, die-hard fashion fans can see this high-profile international exhibition of Karl Lagerfeld photographs, which illustrate the little black jacket as modelled by a number of celebrities.

The Market of Everything
For another five days, local gallery Traffic is bringing together members of the community looking to buy, sell, trade, rent, lend or donate furniture, books, music, art, food, clothes, toys, cars, pets, instruments and more. There is also a comprehensive programme of events happening throughout the week and homemade treats to munch on.

Viaggio: an exhibit of Artioli’s finest craftsmanship
From Thursday May 2, check out the exhibit of timeless Artioli shoes that go back to the ’20s. The luxury Italian brand is displaying handmade shoes made for Vladimir Putin, Michael Jackson, Elton John and many more. The creative director will be available for made-to-measure appointments.

Pull & Bear spring/summer 2013 collection
If it’s affordable snappy fashion you’re after, look no further than the latest collection from this Spanish label. This season the women’s line comprises ethnic, oriental and folk elements with kimono-style tops, beadwork, tunic dresses and fringe detailing. Hues of mint and salmon pink dominate the men’s collection, which also features nautical and varsity styles, plus military-inspired camouflage and khaki.

Sal y Limon now open at Emirates Towers Boulevard
