A to the R to the T (Am so Ridiculously Talented) competition

Sewing Machine Driving License course
Want to craft your own clothes? reMADE DXB is holding two sessions on Saturday May 18 helping participants to familiarise themselves with a sewing machine. In this workshop, students are steered through the basic functions of a sewing machine, how to sew a straight line, sharp turn and sew curves.

Al Mayyasa spring/summer collection 2013
We’re digging the latest Gaga-inspired range from local label Al Mayyasa. Emirati designer Fatma Bin Fahad has crafted an edgy collection of avant-garde dresses and formal wear combining unusual colour combinations and silhouettes with contemporary Arabic-style fabrics.

Coach men’s spring/summer collection 2013
Inspired by the luxury leather brand’s artisanal roots, the men’s collection focuses on modern form and functionability. Colours such as red, navy and sand update bags and totes, while baseballs gloves and accessories such as moulded iPhone cases and straw fedoras keep the range contemporary.

Marks and Spencer now open at Mirdif City Centre
The British department store has opened at 15,000 sq ft store at the low key Mirdif mall, making it the tenth M&S store in the UAE. As part of the expansion, the store promises to deliver a new format of clearer brand differentiation and navigation ease for shoppers.
