New stores at Mirdif City Centre and Ana Mora in Dubai

This week: new stores for Mirdif City Centre and Anna Mora in Dubai

While it’s a fact that most of Dubai slows down over summer, Mirdif City Centre (800 6422) is turning things up a notch with the introduction of 20 new shops over the hotter months. The mall is upgrading both its retail and dining portfolio over the period, with brands such as Hackett, Marks & Spencer, Mexx, Nine West and Nespresso’s boutique coming on board. On top of that, there are ten more openings planned for the mall later in 2013, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Ikea (04 203 7555) in Dubai Festival City must surely be bursting at the seams after adding 1,000 new products to its floors. Brand new stock is marked with green ‘New’ tags and includes additional colour options for existing ranges as well as totally new products. To take a sneak peek before you head down there visit ikeauae.com.

Last but not least Spanish designer Anna Mora (annamora-dubai.com) from the ultra feminine label of the same name was in town recently to visit her newly opened store at Sunset Mall. Mora gave the store her stamp of approval and had a Spanish translator in tow to help her chat to all of the English-speaking press and fans of the label.
