Pop up shops, feel good buys and Alexa Chung at Longchamp

This week: a new pop-up shop, a feel-good buy and Alexa Chung for Longchamp.

British jewellery and cufflink designer Babette Wasserman (www.babette-wasserman.com) is in town this week, promoting her latest collection, which is on display in a temporary pop-up shop in Emirates Towers. Her men’s cufflink range includes button-style pins in bright orange and retro camera and film pieces. We dig the delicate bracelets in rose gold and the chunky statement rings.

Meanwhile, Dubai-based initiative Volunteer in UAE (www.volunteerinuae.com) has launched a new range of T-shirts, available to buy on Namshi (www.namshi.com). The T-shirts proclaim ‘not everyone can do everything but everyone can do something’ and all profits go towards supporting their range of community causes and campaigns.

Lastly, British style icon Alexa Chung is shoving long-time Longchamp (04 339 8460) brand ambassador Kate Moss aside as the face of the brand’s spring/summer 2014 collection. Shot by NYC-based photographer Max Vadukul in a retro convertible on the streets of St Tropez, Alexa shows off the brand’s fresh colour palette and butter-soft leather accessories.
