Want to witness the blood, sweat and tears that goes into making bespoke fine leather kicks? In collaboration with Level Shoe District’s two-month Shoe Atelier campaign, French iconic luxury men’s footwear brand Berluti (04 501 6965) is bringing in bespoke Parisian shoemaker Anthony Delos for one day on Thursday September 11 to demonstrate the shoemaking process and take custom orders. For those more in the market for window shopping, the brand is also hosting an exhibition showcasing the painstaking art of bespoke shoemaking.
Meanwhile, French fashion house Isabel Marant (04 395 1300) has opened its first standalone boutique in the UAE, located in the Fashion Dome, on the second floor of Mall of the Emirates. Dedicated to all things Marant, the boutique features the brand’s ready-to-wear main line collection, shoes, accessories and its diffusion line, Isabel Marant Étoile.
Lastly, Dubai-based pop-up shop Shoreditch Muse (04 341 5339) is now going by the name of Sunday Showroom. The London-inspired retail initative is hosting a pop-up over the weekend of October 17 and 18 under its new title. Stay tuned for more details.
