Hipster threads for kids, bespoke shoes and go VIP at the aquarium

This week: hipster threads for kids; bespoke shoes and go VIP at the aquarium.

It’s not often we cover kids in Time Out Dubai, but as stylish folk will know, there is nothing more exciting than finding freakily fashionable clothes for the much-loved little ones in your life. S*uce’s new concept, kidswear boutique Saucette (04 344 0012), is now open in Galleria Mall, stocking hip designers for mini-mes from international brands including Aristocat Kids, Les Petits Vintage, Finger in the Nose and DOUDOU. You’ll also find lifestyle items as well as kids collections from grown-up brands such as WildFox and Commes des Garcon.

Meanwhile, bespoke leather women’s shoe designer Kyle Keefe is setting up temporary shop in Level Shoe District (04 501 6888) until October 12, with an Italian-themed pop-up concept. The designer is taking orders and making custom versions of her line, which includes kicks crafted in fine leathers and exotic skins, such as sea snake, stingray and crocodile, in a multitude of colours.

Lastly, the option for exclusivity not only applies to Dubai’s nightspots. Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo (04 448 5200) at The Dubai Mall has launched VIP packages, where for Dhs250 visitors can skip queues, enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride, a behind-the-scenes tour and for an extra Dhs150, they’re able to enter the King Croc’s domain, wearing a special security harness.
