Pick one in a bright colour or with a fun pattern. This is a quick and easy way to make your space look fresh and new – and it’s much cheaper then buying new lamps. If you’re crafty, you could even add a ribbon of colour to the top and bottom edge of an existing lampshade.
Add drama to your home by raising the curtain rods to the ceiling and swapping dull curtains for those with warm colours or patterns. As well as making your room look bigger, it will add a punch of drama and texture to the room, too.
Mix things up by changing the mirror over your bathroom sink. Replace plain designs with an ornate mirror incorporating lots of detail or try a mirror that brings some added style to the room. Either way, your boring bathroom will become stylish as well

Rugs and other floor coverings can instantly and dramatically change the whole look of a room. There are so many styles and colour combinations available. Poufs or oversized pillows can also make a big statement.
These provide an easy way to add a pop of colour or a pleasing scent to your surroundings. Scent is often overlooked when it comes to home decor, but entering a house filled with an amazing fragrance will improve your mood instantly. A flickering wick will also create a warm, cosy ambience.
Houseplants and fresh flowers will add colour and dimension to your home. Buy large rattan plant pots, which will also add an element of style. If you feel that taking care of a plant is beyond your abilities, get hold of a cactus instead; you’ll still get a touch of green into your space, and the plant with thrive with limited effort and care.
