Marhaba Market in Abu Dhabi

It’s officially outdoor shopping season at Deerfields Mall in Abu Dhabi

Dubai’s weather is currently perfect for many things. Outdoor lunch breaks, barbecues in the park and lying on the beach are just a few of them. But if you’re craving a long drive with the A/C off and the windows rolled down, get into your car and head south towards Abu Dhabi for the Marhaba Market at Deerfields Mall.

Running on the first and last Friday of each month until April 28, this al fresco shopping destination has something for everyone. There’s an organic fruit and vegetable market, a nursery stall selling pot plants and herbs and local vendors with handicrafts, toys, accessories, homewares and artwork for sale.

Less than an hour’s drive from Dubai Marina, the Marhaba Market will also host dance classes for kids and adults, including Zumba and hip-hop routines. The space will have a dedicated kids’ corner complete with bouncy castle and play section where you can leave the little ones to have fun while you’re learning to pop ’n’ lock.

Food comes in the form of pizza and burger stalls, and there are also plenty of healthier options for those still on their New Year’s diet (we hear you). And there’s even more. Marhaba Market will be hosting competitions and giveaways in the evenings, as well as raffles and pop-up events around the main stage. Glorious winter is officially here, ladies and gents.
First and last Friday of every month, 4pm-10pm. Until April 28. Deerfields Mall, Abu Dhabi, (02 501 0826).
