Biggest sale of the summer as DSS 2017 draws to a close

Massive sale event to conclude summer of savings from August 10-12

The Dubai Summer Surprises grand finale is heading our way, with one last massive sale event taking place over the weekend.

We’ve had six weeks of sales to brighten up the summer, and there’s one last hurrah with huge savings to be found between Thursday August 10 and Saturday August 12.

In recent weeks we’ve seen dedicated sales events on homeware, fashion, kids’ clothes and toys, sunglasses, bridal wear, cosmetics and more (including a whopping 85 percent off Levi’s 501s in Deira, leading to an absolutely rammed store at City Centre Deira). Now, the final sale is upon us, and on top of the already huge savings potential, you can get further discounts on some of the city’s biggest retail brands.

Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdale’s, Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, Le 66 Concept Store, Le BHV Marais and Salam are all taking part in the grand finale sale event – which DSS says includes fashion, electronics, kidswear and home items.

We explored Dubai Summer Surprises at Mall of the Emirates recently, and managed to bag ourselves a huge saving on a range of premium electronics – more than 33 percent off in total. We picked up a Harmon + Kardon Bluetooth speaker, two pairs of Skullcandy headphones (one Bluetooth-enabled, one wired), plus a huge portable power bank for your smartphone, all for less than Dhs1,000, equalling a reduction of more than Dhs500 on regular value.

You can enter to win our collection of electronics bought at DSS (worth over Dhs1,500) as part of Time Out Dubai’s massive summer giveaway, by clicking here.

It’s been a massive summer for DSS, so take this final chance to grab a bargain at malls across the city.
