Emaar launches brand-new Dubai Hills Mall

A new mall, golf course, concert venue and a dedicated metro link coming in 2019

Emaar launches brand-new Dubai Hills Mall

We recently wrapped up seven of the brand-new malls arriving in Dubai by 2020, and you can add another one to that list, because Emaar has confirmed the launch of Dubai Hills Mall.

The development, spanning more than 11 million square metres, is due to open in late 2019, and will serve up more than 2 million square foot of leasable space. More than 750 outlets will be housed in the mall, as well as four major family entertainment and leisure centres including a cinema complex, a 65,000 square foot hypermarket, seven department stores, and residential communities housing villas, townhouses and apartments.

Dubai Hills Mall will also be added to the public transport network with a dedicated link to the Dubai Metro being established. The mall development area will also welcome the arrival of a new outdoor concert area. And with the aforementioned transport links, the area could prove to be a huge success for major music events.

The mall is planned to be the centrepiece of the Dubai Hills Estate, a joint venture project with Meraas. As well as the mall itself, the estate will include a championship golf course, with views of the Downtown Dubai skyline in sight. The golf course will be surrounded by 4,400 villas and townhouses, as well as 22,000 apartments, while a central park area will also be spread over roughly 2 million square feet, and an expanse of greenery and lakes is a welcome addition.
