Probably the biggest riding club in Dubai, you’ll find these guys in their droves smashing it through Al Qudra Lakes every Friday. In fact, you probably won’t, because you’re more likely to be asleep when they arrive en masse at 5.30am during the summer, and 6am during the winter months. The shortest ride they do is a “steady” 85km and you have to be able to comfortably manage 32kph – so it’s one for the serious riders out there.
The first of two entries on this list that doubles up as both a cycling shop and a club is based in Motor City and organises three-times weekly rides at Al Qudra track and Dubai Autodrome. And, best of all, events are free to join in with.
The Cycle Hub
Also found in Motor City, The Cycle Hub organises big group rides on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday every week across the city’s two main tracks. It’s also home to a workshop to customise your bike, and expert advisors to help you best prepare.
