Huge yoga festival XYoga returns to Dubai this month

Conditions are perfect for some outdoors exercise, and one of the biggest sporting and wellness events in the city is returning for its fourth edition later this month, so you can hit the great outdoors while the weather is ideal.

XYoga, the huge festival from XDubai, is returning to Kite Beach on Friday February 21 and Saturday 22 for two days of free classes, talks, workshops, meditation sessions and so much more. It’s the largest festival of its kind in the Middle East, thanks to the 20,000-strong crowd of yoga enthusiasts who are set to take part this year.

Specialist instructors, including Bollywood actress Esha Gupta, Aussie adventurer Sjana Elise, and Instagram yoga influencer Jacob Manning are all set to take part, making it one of the biggest line-ups ever for the festival. The Art of Living, the organisation that helps people find calm and happiness through yoga, are also set to deliver classes for attendees.

There are going to be classes led by live music, there’s going to be acroyoga (which couples acrobatics with yoga in pair work), calisthenics- and martial arts-based yoga classes, multiple stages, a variety of activations, a village featuring local produce supplier Ripe Market, and so much more.

“2020 will be a monumental year for Dubai and this year’s XYoga Dubai, presented by Dubai Holding will once again highlight the emirate’s shared purpose and commitment to defy limits, both individually and collectively,” said Mohammed Javad, General Manager of XDubai. “The fourth edition of XYoga Dubai will bring new yogis, new practices and a new perspective for the tens of thousands who are expected to join us.”

Classes will run from 8am until 5pm over the two days, and registration is open now to everyone at
