No waves or wind required at Surf House Dubai’s electric hydrofoil board

Watch: Dubai’s world-first eFoiling training and surfing experience

Ever since we first saw it in Disney’s Aladdin, we’ve always wanted to go on a magic carpet ride. Well, that might be a while away, but Dubai now has the next best thing.

Surf House Dubai and Ibiza Foils, the home of eFoil, has brought in a new surfing experience that lets people fly over any body of water with no waves or wind required – all thanks to eFoiling.’

Now available in Surf House branches across Dubai, the eFoil is an electric hydrofoil board that features a silent electric motor, which means no noise and zero emissions.

It’s the first eFoiling rental and training centre in the world, thanks to joining up with experts from Ibiza, and it will make you feel like a surfing pro in no time.

Don’t believe us? Check out how we got on below:

The eFoilers promise that you’ll be getting up on the board in the first hour, and by the second, you’ll be hovering over the water. That’s on up on Marty McFly's hoverboarding skills.

Ready to try out the new watersport? The experience comes in at Dhs630 for two for a 40-minute ses-sion, which includes a full instructor session, a bluetooth headpiece for up-to-date technique instructions, safety equipment and, of course, the eFoil itself.

For more adventurous activities to check out throughout Dubai, we’ve got you covered right here.
