Work out for free in JLT

Dubai has a new spinning studio and you can try it out for free

Work out for free in JLT

Spinning fans and savvy spenders alike will be pleased to hear that a new bike and fitness centre has opened in JLT get their first class for free.

Hailing from Brazil, Power Cycle is powered by a top team who’ve been flown over from Brazil to coach Dubai dwellers with a bit of Brazilian flair and a community feel.

You’ll start off by getting a fitness test (which promises to not be as scary as it sounds, gulp) and then your watts and power are tracked each session so you can see how you improve class by class.

Forget going on holiday this summer – the classes are interactive with your very own avatar on your screen showing you cycle through the tracks of Brazil or Greece.

The studio also offers TACFIT – which is also known as ‘the world’s smartest workout’ and is designed to work out each muscle with a system of 26 workouts.

The new studio is equipped with changing facilities that even have a choice of nail polishes on offer in case you accidentally chip a nail (the horror). It also stocks a range of energy bars, juices and protein powders for anyone who needs an extra boost of energy.

Throughout June there are even some top prizes to be won. Pick up a balloon, pop it and be in with the chance to win prizes ranging from half-price membership packages and free class passes.

We can’t think of a better reason to sweat.
