With just 15 minutes to go until the first race, the sun is out at Meydan Racecourse.

Race guests were a bit worried that there might be rain today, following a recent spell of wet weather in Dubai.

But it looks like it's going to be a pleasant afternoon, making for perfect hat weather.

Throughout the rest of the day, it's going to be a mix of sun and clouds – with highs of 34°C at lunchtime. In the evening the temperatures will drop down to approximately 30°C.
