Wimbledon may be underway in the UK but here in Abu Dhabi attention is firmly fixed on December.

Towards the end of the year some of the best tennis players in the world come to the capital to play as part of their preparations for the first Grand Slam of the season.

This year we’re expecting more big names and great matches to take place at Zayed Sports City.

The good news is, if you’ve never got the tennis off your TV at the moment, tickets for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship are now on sale.

Wih six of the best male and female tennis stars in the world expected to be announced in the coming weeks it’s a great opportunity to see the best in the business show their skills in the UAE.

Tickets start from Dhs100 for adults and three day packages can be purchased in advance with a 20 percent discount.

Want to take the little ones? Once again this year kids go free on day one so it’s a great opportunity for a family day out.

This year the tournament will be held from December 19 to 21 at Zayed Sports City's International Tennis Centre.
