PBA basketball stars “miss Dubai fans” as they prepare for big show at Coca-Cola Arena

The biggest teams in the Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) are heading to Dubai very soon, and some of its biggest stars have a few things to say about the big tournament.

Kiefer Ravena of the NLEX Road Warriors has been speaking ahead of the first-ever sporting event at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena, and he can’t wait to meet his fans.

“We’re very excited to be bringing the PBA closer to the hearts of our fans in Dubai. We all know Dubai has a huge Filipino population and we are really excited to be putting on a great show over the two days,” Ravena said.

“If I have one sentence to say to our fans I would say, 'We miss them!' They are out of the country for work and have families that are left behind. We miss them and the PBA miss them. We will make them know how much we miss them by giving them a good show in Dubai.”

The ‘Back in Dubai’ event will be kicking (dribbling?) off on Friday October 4 with NLEX Road Warri-ors v San Miguel Beermen at 8pm. Doors Open at 3pm, and basketball fans can look forward to pre-event games at 4pm.

On Saturday 5, doors will open at 1pm, along with the pre-event show at 2pm, for the big Barangay Ginebra v NLEX Roads Warriors at 6pm.
