Jiu Jitsu is one of the most popular sports in the UAE.
With events throughout the year there are lots of opportunities to see the action live, but as we all have so much going on you can’t always make it along to see the events in person.
Well the good news is that you can now keep up with all the action on a new streaming service dedicated to showing the best local action.
The UAE Jiu Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF), the governing body of the sport in the UAE, has launched a new YouTube channel.
Launched in partnership with FloSports, the channel will show all tournaments organised by the UAEJJF and all league matches completely free of charge.
The channel hopes to spread the reach of the sport to find new viewers and allow fans to keep up to date with all the action.
You can also watch the action by downloading the FloSports app which is also available on the App store, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV.
“By giving jiu-jitsu fans year-round access to webcast content and live coverage, we are seeking to extend the jiu-jitsu family and inspire the next generation of jiu-jitsu athletes to learn the rules and the art of the sport via watching the brightest talent participating in the streamed tournaments,” said Mohammed Hussein Al Marzooqi, director of marketing and finance at UAEJJF.
“We are committed to applying best practices at all levels, including the use of technology in sport.
