New Year, new you’ so they say, and if you’re after a fittingly new spot in Dubai to work off all that festive food, there's a new fitness and wellness facility coming to town.

StudioRepublik, a sister branch to FitRepublik in Dubai Sports City, and is a mammoth of a place spread over two floors, and it’s due to open in January, 2020.

The fitness and wellness facility on Sheikh Zayed Road will be spread across three different platforms, including The Lab for integrated wellness, The Stage for performing arts and The Arena for group exercise.

First off is The Lab, where the team assess and review body composition and blood analysis as well as movement, power and endurance to offer you a personalised training programme.

The Stage is where all the dancers of Dubai you can dabble in dance and drama at all levels, and it also offers Dubai’s first community recording studio space to grow the ‘talent of tomorrow’. That’s not all, it’s an entire music institute with ensemble rooms, classical training – you name it.

Finally there’s The Arena, which is a gym and fitness studio that runs classes that cover everything from bootcamp, cycling, Pilates, yoga and meditation. Sounds like a decent way to get into shape this winter to us.

There’s also ROH, offering healthy food at all times of day, and it even will feature live music played on its stage throughout the week.
