Dubai's GFX and NRG now offering rentable gym equipment

While you’re spending a bit more time at home in Dubai then fitness is going to be a core part of keeping your strength up and staying positive.

Many gyms have been offering online classes and video workouts to help you keep fit, and if you want to keep the fitness going while you’re at home, you can now rent equipment from many independent or home-grown Dubai gyms for the foreseeable.

NRG Fitness in Dubai Marina and GFX in Business Bay have joined the likes of The Platform gym in offering up equipment for customers to rent – so if you are looking for ways to keep fit at home, while supporting your local business, then we thoroughly recommend getting your hands on some kit.

Found in the Dubai Marina Promenade, you can rent equipment from NRG’s functional gym. Get a smart step and four weight plates (designed to be used in a number of ways) available at a weekly rate of Dhs150. Message the gym on Instagram for more.

Over at GFX in Business Bay, you can get the same Les Mills smart step and weight plates, plus the accompanying bar for more advanced weight lifting, for Dhs500 plus a refundable Dhs250 deposit for two weeks. If spinning is more your thing, for Dhs1,500 and a Dhs1,000 refundable deposit you can get your hands on their BodyBike Smart spinning bike for two weeks.
