Time Out Says

The promise
Whether you’re guilty of consistent bleaching, over straightening or relentless brushing, most barnets need some serious attention. Just as botox smooths away fine lines, hair botox promises to turn back time and repair any damage that has afflicted your locks. The ingredients include vitamins E and B5, collagen complex and caviar oil, which is said to nourish and revive any and all hair types, from thick to fine, frizzy to straight.

Step by step
We’re immediately whisked to the basin to have our hair rinsed while our friendly stylist runs through all the benefits of botox. The product is then carefully applied and a 45-minute wait for it to absorb ensues. The product is then rinsed off and a nourishing mask is slathered on and left to sink in for a further 15 minutes. Finally, our locks are blow-dried and flat-ironed (this penetrates the product).

The result
Split ends are a thing of the past, dullness is long forgotten, and forget dryness – our hair has never been silkier or smoother.

Pros
The results are instant and our hair feels very healthy.

Cons
It’s time consuming (usually three hours) and you have to pay extra for after-care products.
