Free yoga for men with moustaches

Fairmont The Palm celebrates 'Movember' with free full moon yoga

We're midway through Movember, which means there's a whole heap of deals for the lads with taches. And Fairmont The Palm is giving another reason to rock that moustache.

Taking place on Saturday November 24, the five-star hotel is offering a free full moon yoga session to all those gents with a moustache or beard, and they’ll even get a gift to take home.

Starting at 8pm, beginner stretchers and pro yogis alike can come for a 90-minute workout that includes one-hour of yoga practise and 30 minutes of meditation. No need to bring those yoga mats either, as the class will be providing them.

This month will see wellness brand Ritual Cosmetics partner up with the full moon yoga class, and there will be a “water island” where guests can sample hand massages and demonstrations with the products.

The team will also be giving away a special “Ritual of Samurai” gift for all those with a moustache.

For those without facial hair, you won’t be excluded. The session will be Dhs80 for one, and Dhs150 for couples, and you’ll get a Rituals of Dao gift bag after your stretch.

There are other places where having a moustache has its perks, including Movember Mondays at Tania’s Teahouse where guests can get 10 percent off their bill.

If you’re looking for more of a wackier kind of workout, we’ve got a list of some of Dubai’s strangest sports to try that will have you playing polo on camels and even twerking.

Grow that tache and get stretching.
Dhs80 (single), Dhs150 (two people). Sat Nov 24, 8pm-9.30pm. Fairmont The Palm, Palm Jumeirah, www.fairmont.com/palm-dubai/ (04 457 3545).
