Underwater yoga returns to The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

If there’s one thing Dubai loves, it’s an unusual setting for a bit of yoga. Whether it’s on the beach, in a cave, under the full moon, or even among cats, dogs and, brilliantly, with horses, we can’t get enough of yoga-ing wherever we can.

If you’re looking to do a spot of yoga in one of the most eye-catching and tranquil places around, then you won’t want to miss out on this offer coming to Dubai to celebrate World Wildlife Day.

To mark the occasion, and raise awareness of marine life conservation, The Dubai Mall will be hosting two yoga sessions on Friday March 15 at the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.

Priced at Dhs126 per 45-minute session, you can head along and take part in the serenity of the 270-degree underwater tunnel in the middle of the aquarium. With thousands of fish, sea life and water mammals in the enormous tank, there are going to be few places more relaxing than this.

Classes will be led by Nicky Rinks from The Platform Studio in Dubai Marina, and part of the class will be focused on providing you, according to the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, “with a mindful marine experience” and will “illuminate the beauty of the marine world”.

Bring it on, we say. You can reserve your spot by visiting www.thedubaiaquarium.com or calling 800 38224 6255.
Dhs126. Fri Mar 15, 7.30am and 8.45am. The Dubai Mall, Downtown Dubai, www.thedubaiaquarium.com (800 38224 6255).
