The UAE hosts 15 teams to fight out the Futsal Championship 2012, with Iran expected to put up a good fight following several previous triumphs. Contenders in today’s matches will depend on the results of last week’s games.

Cricket league
Sign up to this recreational cricket league for men. It’s open to all levels and ages, with sessions also on Mondays.

Men’s basketball

Dubai Desert Road Run June Summer Scorcher
Are you completely mad about fitness? If yes, this 10k summer run is probably for you. Taking place on Saturday June 23, sign-up is now open for the race, which takes place on the private roads around The Sevens.

Freestyle night at Ski Dubai
Try your hand at tricks using specially installed jumps accompanied by music from a local DJ, or just watch as pros and novices work on their stunts. If you’re an amateur looking to work on your tricks, there will
be an enormous inflatable landing pad across the black run, so make the most of the opportunity to practise safely.

Swimming lessons
