Shark safari at Aquaventure
Take a stroll along the bottom of the shark lagoon at the Atlantis waterpark, wearing a special underwater helmet. The park also offers cheaper entry for UAE residents throughout summer when they buy tickets in advance online.

Try an AIDA freediving course
Taking place in Dubai and Khor Fakkan, those who sign up for this freediving course (which involves diving without oxygen and equipment) will need to complete four hours of theory on Wednesday, a three-hour pool session on Thursday, followed by an open water session in Khor Fakkan on Friday.

This event is aimed at people who are new to desert hiking and running – you will need to complete this 10km course before signing to do the 20km.
