Ladies-only classes at Dubai Ice Rink Dubai
Ice Rink is now offering women-only classes every Wednesday with female coaches.

Urban Energy’s running programme
This new training programme gives participants the chance to achieve their goal of running 5km, 10km, half marathon and marathon distances. Training lasts between ten and 21 weeks, and includes two running classes and one fitness class per week, as well as nutrition tips, motivational meetings and plenty of goodies from Urban Energy and Reebok.

Barclays Nations Cup
Members of The Address Montgomerie Dubai golf club pair up to represent countries from around the world to compete across 18 holes. Players on each team must be the same nationality, and are encouraged to dress in their national colours. It will be followed by a trophy presentation, drinks reception and gala dinner.

Run, swim then run again in this biathle race, which involves a 1.5km run, a 200m swim and another 1.5km run – anyone can complete it with minimal training, according to the organisers. The top three male and female finishers in each age group will be invited to represent the UAE at the Biathle World Championship 2012 on Saturday November 3, to be held in the same location.
