Dubai Ice Rink is now offering women-only classes every Wednesday with female coaches.

Head down to The Walk at JBR this weekend and set the fastest time you can on Red Bull Racing’s ‘Playseat’ simulator. The 30 best times recorded will go into the finals on Thursday November 1, where they will compete against each other for VIP tickets to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday November 4.

Gulf Bike Week
Expect a showcase of sport bikes, cruisers, off-road and ATVs, as well as clothing and accessories. There will also be stunts and a custom bike competition. On Friday, a Thunder Parade will take place, with riders cruising through the city after Friday prayers at approximately 2pm in aid of Dubai Autism. Thursday night will see Megadeth take to the stage, while Daughtry and Razorlight are scheduled for a Friday night gig – doors will open at 7.30pm for both concerts.

Ladies’ nights at Wild Wadi

Pink Biathlon Dubai 2012
This run, swim, run event for Breast Cancer Awareness is back for a third year, courtesy of Dubai’s Original Fitness Co and Puma. You can enter either as an individual or in teams of three to run 1,600m, swim 500m and run 1,600m. The event is open to people of all fitness levels. Online registration is essential, as there will be no registration on the day.

Rock climbing
Join Arabia Outdoors for either one or two days of rock climbing. There is overnight camping for those who want to do the full weekend. All you need to bring is a packed lunch for two days, breakfast for Saturday morning and food to barbecue on Friday evening, as well as your sleeping bag, mattress and climbing shoes (trainers are fine for beginners). The weekend is open to all climbers, but spaces are limited to ensure the correct ratio of climbers to instructors.
