The season ahead sees the city host a number of exciting matches, which are very affordable and typically extremely well-attended, with fans of the sport pouring in from around the emirates. Prices, timings and venues across the UAE will be firmed up nearer the time of each fixture, but for now, here’s a look at the line-up.
Pakistan v South Africa
South Africa play Pakistan in two tests, five one-day internationals and two T20s during its visit to the UAE.

ICC Intercontinental Cup: Afghanistan v Kenya
The two countries go head-to-head in the UAE, followed by the Intercontinental Cup Final from December 10 to 14.

ICC World Twenty20 Cup Qualifiers
This competition will see six of the 16 entrant teams secure their place in the main tournament, to be held in Bangladesh in 2014. Current favourites to qualify at the event include Afghanistan and Ireland.
November 25, 27-30.
Pakistan v Sri Lanka
During this two-month bilateral series, the two teams will play three tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20s.
