FINA World Swimming Cup
Dubai holds the first Asia-region round of the international games, the fourth round in this year’s series.

Rookies Tri Camp 2013
This three-day camp is aimed at rookies preparing for the 2013/14 season. The minimum requirement is that you can comfortably swim 400m, bike 10km and run 5km. Participants will be training with a qualified triathlon coach.

Talise Fitness Breast Cancer Challenge
Take part in the Jumeirah Emirates Towers fitness challenge, which involves doing a total 100km on cardio equipment including the rower, treadmill, stepper, cross trainer and glider/ski. Participants will be entered into a draw for a raft of great prizes, and all entry fees go to Pink Caravan.

The camel racing season returns, with events running right through to 2014. Races run this week only on Friday.

This ball hockey league offers men and women the chance to see some real action, in a five-on-five mixed recreational league, Mighty Ducks Reloaded.

Night rides at Al Qudra
Join Probike’s Monday night rides, which are currently a short but sweet 36km or 45km out-and-back ride along the Al Qudra cycle track, with a pace of between 26-28kmph – though there are two groups, one slow and one fast. In time, as the rides grow, groups will be formed to ride at different speeds.
